Idyll Interrupted
I caught the family cold last Friday, and spent the weekend convalescing in the company of James Bond, Jane Austen and The Simpsons (the latter at the influence of my boyfriend’s 15-year-old sister). The weather was sickly, too: grey, drizzly and cold, which made it less painful to be stuck inside resting. On Monday, the sky was blue and my condition improved.
